Data Visualization Engineer

This role requires expertise in the design and development of web-based graphical user interfaces, with an emphasis on the creation of domain-specific data representations and highly interactive user experiences.

Job description

The front-end engineer will be primarily engaged in creating innovative user-centred experiences. As a front-end engineer at Nextbit, you will develop new products and services that leverage the most recent advances in open source programming, libraries and visualization algorithms to transform the user experience.

You will be working with a team of highly talented visualization experts, data scientists, artificial intelligence experts and data architects. Job responsibilities require the integration of strong analytical and design skills, business acumen and sound programming.

Full Time · Remote EST

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ES6, HTML, SVG, CSS, D3, Redux, React, Git, Rest/GraphQL APIs, testing libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end development.
  • Practical know-how of algorithms to visually represent complex data, information and processes.
  • An inclination to work with numbers, open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity and an orientation to teamwork and reaching objectives complete the profile.
